The 1st European Biotech Hub Meeting 2018 will take place in Dresden, Germany, on January 30 and 31, 2018. Registration is open!
Venue: SAXON STATE MINISTRY FOR RESEARCH AND THE ARTS (SMWK), Wigardstraße 17, 01097 Dresden, Germany
The establishment of a European Biotech Hub meeting series is one of the main objectives the ERA CoBioTech partners have set out in their proposal. It will be vital in aligning and advancing the different European strategic instruments as well as national and regional biotechnology initiatives. To initiate and sustain this active engagement across the entire biotechnology and related value chains, and to increase the visibility of the sector to a wider audience, at least three Biotech Hub Meetings, supported by various additional activities, will be implemented.
The first European Biotech Hub Meeting will be hosted by The Saxon State Ministry for Research and the Arts (SMWK) in Dresden/Germany from 30-31 January 2018. The participants, acting as multipliers in their countries, fields, or sectors, will represent major European industry-led initiatives, European networks of funding bodies, and relevant Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KIC). It will also provide policy actors from various backgrounds with a platform for strategic discussions on topics of and of relevance for biotechnology. The outcomes of these discussions will shape the ERA CoBioTech Strategic Vision.
The registration for this meeting is by invitation only. Please email cobiotech@smwk.sachsen.de by 30 November 2017 for further information.
