Project Abstract
The C1Pro project aims to develop microbial cell factories that can effectively convert the non-food raw material methanol into biomaterials and biopharmaceuticals. This we will do by integrating synthetic- and systems biology to understand and genetically engineer the bacteria. The expected outcome is microbial cell factories for sustainable production of environmental friendly products.
C1Pro is funded by the ERA CoBioTech partners: ANR, FNR, RCN, MIZS and co-funded by the European Union.
Project Start: March 2018 Duration: 36 months
Project Budget: Funding: 1.290.000 Euro, Total Cost: 1.767.000 Euro.
