Project Abstract
The CoolWine project aims to solve one of the major problems derived from global climate warming and new consumer trends that the European wine industry is facing, the constant increase in alcohol content of wines. We are developing biotechnological tools to reduce this alcohol content of wines. This will allow us to produce new low alcohol wines in agreement with the society demands for a healthier life style.
CoolWine is funded by the ERA CoBioTech partners: BMBF, RCN, AEI and co-funded by the European Union.
Project Start: May 2018 Duration: 36 months
