Project Abstract
WooBAdh project aims to study the feasibility of replacing formaldehyde in wood adhesives by natural components derived from wood or other vegetable matter. The bioadhesives will be produced by applying chemical and enzymatic modifications on lignin and tannins. The use of the bioadhesives will avoid emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOC) from everyday and household products.
WooBAdh is funded by the ERA CoBioTech partners: ANR, BMBF, MIZS, AEI and co-funded by the European Union.
Project Start: March 2018 Duration: 36 months
